Online pledges can still be made until Nov. 23.
Rope for Ravenswood is an annual fitness-focused fundraising program, engaging Ravenswood students in healthy activity while raising money for their school. The program is designed to spotlight the importance of physical fitness and healthy lifestyle choices while empowering students to meaningfully contribute to the needs of their school community. On Wednesday, November 14, Ravenswood students in grades four through eight will gather in the school gym, divide into grade-level teams and jump rope for 80 minutes to earn pledges made by family, friends and neighbors for their school. It will be a morning of teamwork, sportsmanship and community. When it’s all said and done, more than their heart rates will rise. Do your part and support one of the upper grade classrooms! You can pledge to the classroom or student of your choice and rally behind the 4th through 8th graders who are jumping rope for the benefit of all students at Ravenswood School. Pledges will be accepted from Monday, October 29 through Tuesday, November 23. There are two ways to pledge:
- Pledge in person to a Ravenswood 4th- through 8th-grader. Cash or checks will be accepted.
- NEW THIS YEAR! Pledges can now be made online! Visit http://ropeforravenswood.dojiggy.com to support a certain student or make a donation to support the jumping efforts of an entire classroom.
The classroom with the highest amount pledged will win a pizza party.
