Ravenswood School offers two preschool programs: the state-sponsored Chicago Early Learning Pre-K half-day program, and Tuition-Based Pre-School (TBPK) full-day program. Admissions procedures are different for each program.
Admissions Procedures for Chicago Early Learning (CEL) Pre-K Half-Day Preschool at Ravenswood School
Admittance to the CEL program is coordinated through CPS. There are a total of 40 spots available in the Ravenswood CEL program: 20 in the morning session and 20 in the afternoon session. Children must be at least three years old and toilet-trained by September 1 of the school year they attend.

Admissions Procedures for Tuition-Based Pre-School (TBPK) Full-Day at Ravenswood School
Application to the TBPK program begins on the first day of school each Fall. Admittance to the TBPK program is first come, first served, according to the order in which applications and deposits are remitted to the school office, with preference given to in-boundary families and siblings of current Ravenswood students. Ravenswood School has one TBPK room, allowing for a total of 20 children. Students must be at least three years old and toilet-trained by September 1 of the school year they attend.
